Why can’t I change my payment method after a session starts?

When a parking session starts, your payment method is authorized upfront to confirm it’s valid and can be charged when the session ends.

Because that authorization is already in place, the payment method for a session can’t be changed once parking has begun. This helps ensure the final charge can be collected accurately when the session ends, including any extensions or adjustments.

If you want to use a different payment method, you’ll need to select it before starting a new parking session.
