Why didn’t the meter update when I paid with Passport Parking?

Physical parking meters do not always update when you pay with Passport Parking, because they aren’t always connected to the app in real time.

Even though the meter display didn’t update, your session is valid immediately. As long as your session is marked as active in the app or web experience, your payment has been successfully recorded.

Parking enforcement verifies payment digitally using your license plate and zone, not the meter display.
